Your Semaglutide Journey for Weight Loss
Once you've decided to use Semaglutide as a tool to help shed excess weight, the real work begins.
With so many online telehealth providers available, finding one that meets all your needs can be challenging. If you're like me, you’ll want a provider with a secure portal and meeting environment to safeguard your health information. It’s also important to choose a reputable provider who delivers on their promises within your budget and offers a plan that works for you. Additionally, you might be seeking a provider that accepts your insurance. And that’s just the beginning of what you need to consider.
You’ll also encounter costs for an initial consultation and potentially a monthly subscription fee for additional services that you may or may not need. Our website, Compare Semaglutide, can assist you in navigating the various options and understanding what each provider offers. Additionally, we have a Comparison Chart that allows you to see how each provider measures up in terms of monthly out-of-pocket expenses.
Mochi Health - Founder, Dr. Myra Ahmad, MD
The founder of Mochi started the company to serve those communities traditionally ignored by healthcare and the un-insured. Rather than shaming customers she sees the value in listening to patients and providing evidence-based programs.
What excites me most about Mochi is we connect providers with patients to discuss evidence-based weight loss strategies using every tool in our belt: Licensed RDNs, MDs who are Board Certified in Obesity Medicine, CBT-i for sleep therapy, and prescription medication. We customize treatment approaches based on eligibility form responses to provide the best results.

Mochi Health Semaglutide Weight Loss Journey Options
There are two options, one with insurance and one without. The two plans allow for those who don't have insurance or who can't get approved, to have the option of getting started on the generic versions.
Paying with Insurance - $79/mo. membership + Copay
Without with insurance - $79/mo. membership + $175/mo.
Includes compounded Semaglutide
0.25mg - 2.4mg dose for four-weeks
Without insurance - $79/mo. membership + $325/mo.
Includes compounded Semaglutide
2.5mg - 15mg dose for four-weeks
In most cases your medical professional will start you out on a smaller dose for weeks 1-4, then every four weeks or so, your dosage may increase, thus the need for a larger vial or more vials of the medication.
The $79 monthly membership includes some nice perks. You will have a customized Nutrition plan that includes virtual visits with a dietitian to help keep you on track and monitor your progress.

Mochi Health - What we like
1) I like that their website is fairly easy to navigate and they are very transparent with their pricing. The price of medications only are very competitive.
2) They include a phone number on their website that is manned 24/7. I called to ask a few questions to complete this blog and the gentleman who picked up my call was friendly and helpful.
3) Mochi Health is LegitScript Certified, meaning they have been certified by an outside organization on their verification of facilitating transactions for pharmacies. It also means that they have been approved for card-not-present transactions over the internet.
Mochi Health - What could be better
1) I like the benefit of the dietitian and nutrition plan as part of the membership, but it comes with a price, as all great things do.
