Calibrate Cost & Weight Loss Journey Options

Calibrate is much more than just a semaglutide prescription.  They have an extensive, outlined plan for weight loss that just so happens to include weight loss drugs as a tool in their toolbelt. 

Calibrate requires an initial 3-month commitment on their membership. It's $597 for the quarter and can be paid in monthly installments of $199.  This cost does not include medications.

Calibrate only prescribes branded weight loss medications and doesn't appear to offer compounded semaglutide, the off-brand or generic version of the GLP-1. If it's determined that your medical insurance covers weight loss drugs, they state your cost could be as little as $25 per month.  They also indicate that if you are on a high-deductible plan that your out of pocket could be higher until you meet that deductible.  

If it's determine that your insurance doesn't cover weight loss drugs, they claim that they can still help you lose weight and that it's still possible even without the assistance of the GLP-1 meds like Wegovy or Ozempic.

To be considered for GLP medications from most providers, you must have:

BMI of 30+

OR

BMI of 27 or greater AND

the presence of at least one weight-related comorbid condition

Calibrate , What could be better?

Calibrate is doing the heavy lifting when it comes to navigating your insurance, but this means the cost is unknown until that process is complete. Also, because they only offer prescriptions for the name branded versions of Semaglutide and not compounded semaglutide, we left them on the list with a question mark in the pricing column of the comparison chart.
